How do I complete a site induction on the Skylark App?

The Skylark mobile App lets you complete and update your site inductions directly on your phone. If you have access to a site you will be able to take the induction for that site using the Skylark mobile App. 

First login to the Skylark Mobile App and you will see a list of sites that you can access. If you don’t see the sites you will see a list of options and the top one will be a sites button. Press this button to see the list of sites.

From the list select the site that you want to work on, if you have access to many sites you may need to scroll to find the site you are looking for. When you select a site the details will be displayed in the App. If need to complete a site induction for the selected site there will be a notification at the top of the screen.

Select the “Take Induction Now” link and you will be redirected to your Mobile Browser to complete the process. You may have to login to the Skylark Web Portal on your Mobile, if you haven’t done so recently. The Skylark Web Portal can be accessed with the same email address and password that you use to login to the Skylark Mobile App.

Login to the Skylark Portal and you will be taken directly to the My Sites page where you notifications of any required site inductions and competencies. If you have a site induction to complete click on the 3 white line at the top left of your screen.

Select the My Training option in the side menu to view your induction training.

All of your site induction and training courses will be displayed, with completed and valid inductions marked with a green tick and incomplete or expired inductions marked with a red x. You can click the Start button on inductions that you need to complete.

The details of the induction will be displayed. Training may include a set of questions, a document that must be read or video that must watched. In this example there are two sections to the site induction: the first is a document to read and the second is a set of questions to answer.

Click the green Start button to view the document. This example document has one page but other induction documents may contain multiple pages. 

When you have read all pages of the document a green Next or Submit button will be enabled. Click Next to go to the next section of the Induction.

Complete all questions in this section, you may have to scroll down to see all of the question and the Submit button at the end. If all questions are answered correctly the Submit button will be enabled.

When you can completed all sections of the site induction you will be notified that the training is complete.

You can now return the Skylark Mobile App and return to the site that you need to access, the induction warning will be removed and you will be able to proceed. You may have to refresh the screen to see the change in the induction status.
